Slow is Okay

Welcome to the slow lane, my friend. Whether you are going away from faster lanes or coming onto the highway of a spiritual journey for the first time, this is a great lane to ease into a pace and space of the journey. Why? Because the slow lane simply tells you it is okay to go slow.

Coming Into the Lane

For those of you who are just getting their spiritual commute going, welcome to the highway of your journey. Take your time and get used to the road. It may take quite a while for you to get into a groove. Take all the time you need to find your pace, and it is completely fine if you need to take an off-ramp or even a rest stop as you get used to the road. The only caution: don't pull too quickly over into the faster lanes of this journey. Enjoy the slower but beautiful moments of your first time on this spiritual journey.

Going Into the Lane

For those of you who are going into the slow lane from the faster lanes of your spiritual journey, this might seem strange for several reasons. This is so common to feel this way. You are safe in this lane. Nothing is being expected of you except to keep going down the road at the speed of your choosing. Honestly though, most people who have pulled over into the slow lane usually need to use an off-ramp and/or a rest stop at some point. This is completely okay to consider and even follow through in doing. The biggest idea I want you to hear is that slow is okay. Whatever the reason you needed to pull over into the slow lane, you are loved and you are still on the journey with the one who loves you exactly where you are.
